In this module, participants will learn about the concept of Team Roles by Meredith Belbin. They will discover their preferred roles in the team and learn to identify those favored by the others. They will find out why some teams succeed and not others.

The participants take on the roles of employees of a movie production company, which has just come across an excellent opportunity to make it in their industry. Their task is to invent an idea for a film that will win the contest. This seemingly easy task will turn out to be a real challenge when it comes to collaborating with the staff at the other departments. People have different communicating styles, different personalities, different ways of perceiving the same tasks, and various priorities. All that makes the game not only immensely compelling but also highly informative. In its basic structure, the Movie studio training game draws on Carl Gustav Jung’s theory of psychological types. The participants get assigned to one of four teams symbolized by the colors: red, yellow, blue, and green – a convention popularly applied in the context of psychological types. The division into teams is carried out in an interesting but at the same time, uncomplicated way and the carefully prepared instructions strengthen the effect of the game itself. This makes it possible to observe a whole variety of behaviors typical of the particular styles of communicating and decision-making. This is a game that not only absorbs the participants, but most of all enable them to learn about their own (and the other players) style of building interpersonal relationships and manner of making the decision. It is a game which reveals the strengths and potential weakness, inspires and leads the participants to valuable conclusions for the future.

During this module, you will take part in a training game that will allow you to take on the roles of coaches and their clients. As a coach, you will prepare and ask the best questions, adequate to the client’s current problem situation. Your Customers will evaluate each question. Participants will actively train the ability to ask coaching questions.

We can deliver this training in a two-day variant (The art of identifying and developing human potential training) or one-day training (knowledge and skills pill – delivering only part of this training). We can conduct this training in-person in a one or two-day variant in a hotel, training center, or at your company. We can also deliver this training as a two-day online training (2x4h) through Zoom, MS Teams, BigBlueButton, or similar software.
