Assertiveness and conflict management
Despite having a perfect hearing, many people cannot hear out their colleagues and clients. Despite having full ability to speak, people often withdraw instead of expressing their expectations directly because they fear spoiling the atmosphere. On the other hand, they sometimes prove their arguments bluntly. Meanwhile, neither a passive nor aggressive communication style is optimal. Moreover, their dominance in the professional environment is often a source of chronic conflicts and decreased productivity.
Assertiveness training could result in both boosting the effectiveness of the company and reduction of destructive, hidden conflicts in the team.
